¿Qué es Semilla?
Semilla is an incubation program for entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector, focused on businesses in rural areas.
It lasts 12 weeks and provides support to ventures that are in the early stages.
The program offers access to a network of national and international contacts across various markets.
This program is created by Impact Hub Medellín, Impact Hub Cali, and Staterra.
We are looking for startups and/or businesses in rural areas focused on agriculture in the early stages of development.
Attend 8 workshops led by entrepreneurs with experience in market and business development in rural areas, access to financing, and other topics that will surely be of interest to you.
Have a personalized mentor who will accompany you throughout the incubation program, helping you apply the learnings from the workshops and giving you access to a network of experts.
Receive guidance from both local and international experts.
Get discounts and free services from the program’s partners, valued at more than COP 150,000,000.
Also, become part of Impact Hub Cali’s purpose-driven entrepreneurs network.
Why apply to Semilla?
Be over 18 years old at the start of the program.
Have an early-stage venture that already has a minimum viable product or prototype.
The venture does not need to be registered with the Chamber of Commerce (but by the end of the program, a timeline for registration must be established).
Be available for 5 hours per week during the 12 weeks of the program to participate in its activities.
Finally, the venture must have an impact on one or more of the 17 SDGs or plan to create such an impact in the short term.
